i hate to ask a silly question like this, but i've read a little and i am still unclear. besides, it'll just take you knowledge packed fellas a simple yes or no to resolve this for me. ok, is the bolt pattern (wheel) on a stock rear-end out of a 1975 chevy SWB 1/2 ton gonna be the same as the pattern for a stock 1950 chevrolet four door sedan? told ya it's silly. please help this dummy out! some people tell me yes, some say no???? whats the truth? thanx.:confused:

the '50 has a 4.75 bolt pattern where as the '75 I think that would be 4/1/4 bolt pattern, Wheel lug coverters are your best bet.
No, i dont trust lug convertors. If it was me, i would buy the right rims or axle. I have this qualm about spacers+torque
Yeah, I know lug converters are unrecommended and are unsafe cause, they dont allow support. Best bet is to ither change the axle or get the correct rims.

wrong Ford used a 4.5 bolt circle.
Clarification buds................C10 is 5" bolt circle.
BTW, the chart that Seon posted is OK, but it lacks quite a bit of the older stuff, and is confusing on the Chev truck listings, plus a couple other errors.

i have to agree with bob , no full size chevy truck from 73 to 87 came with 5x 4.375 they all came with 5x5 bolt circle !!!! check again . trust me me and bob are right!
