I have got an offer from to different shop, it's about á 120 dollar.... I didn't mention i also had a little leak with my gear coolant - sorry

So a new one, and maybe i give it a try restoring the old one myself - when i find some more sparetime

Could this brass be a good alternative?

If you are going to be putting a big block in down the road, I'd install a good aftermarket aluminum radiator from Be Cool and be done with it.
