door lock
Need some help guys. On my 40 Ford p/u I'm trying to remove the door lock-lock tumbler mechanism. Anybody do this on a old Ford, I can't see any clips or anything holding it in place. I'm stripping the door down to put BearClaw locking mechanism in them. Thanks.

Is there a small hole in the door frame. A lot of older cars have a set screw that is accessed through a 3/16 hole...................I know that is what our 38 Chev has. Maybe pm Da34 guy, he has a pair of 40 pickups at his place now.........you can find him on the Deuce page............let us know how you make out.
