Hello I am looking to build my first rat rod. I have this 93 dodge cummins 2wd. What's everyone think of using the dodge frame and drivetrain?? Or should I just put the cummins in something else?

Welcome Aboard. What else do you have to build this project? So far you've got a motor/ tranny combo.. chassis.. and what to set on top of it?
The cummins combo would be unique..
I don't have a body yet still looking for something in 50s or 60s. I am in Canada btw. My biggest concern is should I use the dodge w250 frame or go with something else?? Like s10 frame??
It's all up to you! What is it that catches your eye? What kind of vehicle do you want?
Perhaps look through some magazines and see what others are driving and decide what you want to build.
It's a blank page. write down some ideas of what you like to see. The you can make a plan to guide you through the project.
I think you're going about your project wrong, asking questions about what frame to use before you have any idea what body you'll be using. Grafting a later model (50's to 60's) body to a truck frame may sound like a cake walk but to do it right and make it look right is a huge, huge task. IMO you need to make a few basic decisions about what end result you're wanting to achieve before you start asking questions about what frame to use. It's a whole lot easier to make some custom motor & tranny mounts to mate to a common body/frame package than it is to adapt a body to a frame, which may not match up with your engine. Plan your work, then work your plan. Anything else will be throwing good money after bad.
Welcome to CHR, BTW.
Welcome to CHR! You definitely have a great power plant to start with! An early power wagon would be a cool build IMO!
