THAT would indeed be an interesting challenge! I went back and re-read Post 43 and you're indeed right about wanting the center lamps to light only on turn signal flash, but not with running lights OR brakes. I missed the "or Brakes" part. I'm not sure how one would do that without a whole lot of work.... I had interpreted "signals" to mean both turn and brake, which i would think would be beneficial - third brake light plus turns.

The only way I got it to work was to use the brake signal wire to seperate lights (was using LED) and had to have 2 lights per side to make it work. This was on a truck and I had to use the signal wire going to the brake controller. I'm intrigued here too because I'd like to have seperate turn and brake lights on my 72 to be more visible. It seems people these days get used to seeing a brake light and a flashing light on the same side and when they don't see it on an older vehicle they don't pay much attention and then wammo! :LOL:

Actually, this is easier to do than I first thought it be, by using your front turn signal lamp wiring to activate the center light left/right at the rear. The front signal circuit is not tied into the brakes.

First off let me start out by saying you guys rock! The amount of support you all have shown me during this build just blows my mind. To support a guy you all don't even know kinda restores my faith in this world. Secondly as usual I was overthinking it and making it more complex than it needed to be. It's in my nature to do this (Kinda how I'm wired pun intended). Good call by 36 sedan and it makes perfect sense even to a wiring moron like me. Oh what an age we live in! Where someone like me can post a question to like minded individuals and get the answer needed in short order. I only hope to someday pay it forward to a kid growing up and getting involved in hot rods. Me as a hot rod mentor? You never know. Thanks again for all the help.
