subframe question
This isn't a hot rod by any means, but I have a 1990 Lumina(2 door) that accidently hit a tree
Well, the subframe got mashed in pretty good and set the tires right against the fenders. My question is this; would the subframe off of the same year Lumina(4 door) bolt up? I don't know if there is a dimentional difference width wise or length wise. I found a couple 4 door Luminas for nothing, but don't want to put in the wrench time if it won't work.

It is called an "engine cradle" on the front wheel drive cars and yes if the engine and trans combo is the same the cradle will fit.

Re: subframe question
Hopefully you or your wife didn't babk it into the tree, and it just jumped out of gear course, my grandmother backed into my dads 1985 Honda Magna V45, lucilly she did not run over it but just nocked it over, she also backed through her garage door.Originally posted by eboy
