    Hey!! How are your grounds?? Negative side of battery to back of engine block?? Ground wire from back of Alternator to ground at block? Grounds all sanded and clean? http://www.madelectrical.com/electri...hreewire.shtml A good read!! Pete

    Agree with the earthing issue,but surely this should be a problem whether the car is cold or hot

    Was thinking if you have bad connections the wires would heat up and maybe the Alternator is working harder than it should and overheating? Pete
