Ship, that is a nice work area. Looks like it would be easy to heat and cool.

Wow! Some of you folks have got some fine shops/garages. Congratulations! Mine is pretty humble compared to some, but giant leaps ahead of others... I have a 2-car garage attached to my house that served the purpose for years. I built my last C-Cab, my coupe, my son's sedan, and started the build on my roadster there. When I retired (former school teacher) I had to bring all my stuff home that was stored at work, so built my shop as a retirement gift to myself. I had a slab poured and had a triple-wide steel carport put on it. Then I enclosed it, wired it, and finished it inside myself. Total cost for the whole thing was about $6400. Now the wife's car and my coupe share the old garage. My truck, my roadster, our two Harleys, and my Electrathon race cars share the shop with my work space and tools. Here are pics of the carport after it was installed and the finished shop.:) As usual, the pictures loaded in reverse order on this sucky program...
TerpnGator - Where in central Florida are you? I'm in Titusville, 40 miles south of Daytona, 20 miles north of Cocoa, and across the river from Kennedy Space Center.:D

it's amazing how fast our stuff breeds when we put it in a shop. i went from a 30x40 to a 40x90 and it looks the same . :(

Yep once the truck is back, all loose parts are getting mounted, then what's left over goes on craigslist. The old stove is going whether the wife likes it or not and the back bench will be functional again! Right now there is a ton of junk everywhere, and small projects getting completed! It just needs cleaning and then it will be workable again! I have some rarely used tools that need to go too! When we rebuilt the barn/garage, we insulated it and dry walled it. It was only wire to 110 volts due to main box limitations, even after upgrading, but could be 220v in the future. It is also wired for telephone and cable(internet and TV.) Just needs a sink and toilet! :)
Forgot to post pictures of the loft storage above bay doors.
