I have a project and need the work done correctly & reasonably

I have asked some friends who did "shop" work on our old cars/trucks so I figured I'd ask here also. Can anyone recommend someone around St Louis or even a couple of hours around me that does this type work that YOU would trust to work on your stuff. Like the rest of you I want the job done right the first time so it's safe, but I'd also like the cost to be reasonable also.

As some of you know I have a 48 Chevy 1 ton Panel/Bus sitting on a stretched 3/4 ton AD frame. I've had it since 93, got to drive it around the block once 8yrs ago just 2 weeks before our some went to Iraq. It was a shell on the frame w/the drivetrain in it w/no glass, no door latches, no floor, no lights, w/the battery sitting between my sons feet, a 2 gallon can wired to the frame, w/a toggle switch & push button to start it. It was one of the best times I had w/my son and we still laugh about it like it was yesterday. Now it's sits basically completely taken apart. I would like to get it together so the wife & I can enjoy it & when the time comes our son can have it & enjoy it also.

Here's my problem, I use to be able to do most of all my own work years ago, but I can't do it any more. Long story short, I have had more surgeries then I care to count, some which included 4 neck/back fusions w/hardware, both knees replaced, I have severe corpal tunnel in both hands & it takes me 4 times as long to do anything as it use to. I've got the tools to do it but can't do the work anymore or afford to mess myself up.

Here's what I have for the truck.
All the sheet metal
1978/79 425/400 Cadillac combo, a Father Day gift from my son the year he joined the Marines.
Scott Danforth's front suspension X-member welded in (hope it was done correctly) w/Global West Upper Control Arms and stock fullsize GM spindles.
2" dropped spindles w/3inch dropped springs, if needed.
Rebuilt AD Speedo/Guages.
Rebuilt rear suspension (new pins & bushing)
Altman Door Latches to be installed
Rear Lower Quarter Panel Patch Panels(behind rear fenders)
2 core Aluminium Radiator w/fan shroud and most likely a POS China made fan.
Modified FWD Buick Tilt column (switched collars)
40 gallon Suburban fuel tank.
I may have more but cant remember.

Anybody gamed????
If so I would like to discuss this w/you if you'd like to take this project on & see what it may cost.

Joe, you might want to contact Howard Worrell, he's a member of CHR, lives in the area,and has been involved in racing and Hot Rodding for years. I'm not saying he would be interested in the project, but with all his time involved in motorsports and Hot Rodding I'm quite sure he would be able to suggest some folks who could help you out.
