    Installing 32 Ford windshield glass

    I'm looking for detailed technique information, instructions ,etc. for installing windshield glass in my 2" chopped 32 Ford roadster windshield. I have new standard thickness glass, standard rubber seal material, and a new repro chromed frame. After initial fitting, the fit between glass and frame are extremely close. I want to assure I do this correctly, and not damage the rubber seal material during installation. Any technique information would be greatly appreciated.

    I don't have a cool 32 but;
    I just did my 28A windsheild a few3 months back,,I had it cut by a buddy,he gave me the glass and did the cutting[Big thanks there] but it was a bit wrong size wise and I had to adjust it my self,plus noted that for my old frame work=not totaly strate,it would only really fit one way,and of as things go,the first time I droped into the frame with my black silacone sealer latxe in place,I did it back word,NUTS,and had to take it out. what a extra mess I made my self,but it clened up with water and I did it right after. Trimmed with a raszer after it dried and cleaned up good. One trick I used was to put some black electile tape all around the glass as kind of pad,then set it into the sealer.
