Does anybody know for sure if the front turn signals/park lamp assy's from a 68 GTO will fit in a 68 Firebird? To me they seem to look very similar (Color of the plastic backing being the only diff I have noticed), but I have never been able to put a pair of each next to each other to see if they will work.

I am having a hell of a time finding assy's for my Firebird but I have found them quite a few places for the GTO. I know that there may be issues as far as them looking stock but I don't really care about that on this car. I just need turn signals that will fill the gap and work w/out a bunch of modification and to the untrained eye not look out of place.
