Thanks for the link but for that kind of money I'll continue to use my vice
It does look like a cool Koul tool but I don't do it often enough to warrant the cost. I've struggled with other cruder methods but have made them work the couple times I did fuel hoses and turbo oil and water lines.
I have a set of these. If you do many AN hose assemblies, they are really handy...unless you get a thrill out of manual assembly where you get the little braid wires poked into your fingers...little wires sure hurt. Some sizes of AN hose are fairly easy to assemble without tools, some are a pain...if you do many, you have your UNfavorite size. Great product.
It's a good product but I did many fittings both push on and braided lines and have never had one leak and I did them all with aluminum jaws in my vise. If I did miles of hose and fittings every day , it may be worth the cost but not for what I need or do.
