I own a 87 Ford full size truck with a dually rear , I would like to know if there is any kits etc.. to transplant in a Big Block Chevy and turbo 400 trans? I know I'll hear a lot of gripe but, its what I would like to do, with the easiest mounting possible!:D

What were you smoking when you came up with this brainstorm?
Ford makes several big block engines that will fit in your truck without a lot of work. If you are doing this because you want a Chevy try buying a Chevy next time. Big block Chevy engines fit right in them so you won't need a kit. I'd try to find a half ton pickup to start with. They make better hot rods. A car would be even better.
Sure it can be done but It's not easy. If you have the skills to do it you wouldn't be looking for a kit. You would know that you're on your own with this oddball swap.
Don't expect many people to think you did something good. Most of them will just ask WHY?
If you already own the bbc you should shop around for something better to put it in.

Seriously though, lots a luck getting that pig block to work out for ya. Personally, I'd find something different to put it in to start with just like Al said; but, if you absolutley must do it...the torch pro suggested would be the place to start....and probably be the end of the truck too ;) .

I gave you enough negative crap in my first reply. Now Im' trying to think positive. I know there's no kit but I did some research and I found an engine mount that will mount a bb Chevy in any frame from 24" to 37"wide. It's in the Performance Automotive Warehouse (PAW) catalog. It's an adjustable length crossmember that can be either welded or bolted to your frame. The price is $62.95 but my catalog is from 2001. Their website is www.pawengineparts.com If you can't find it there order a catalog.
The easiest way is to sell your truck and find a C-30 dually with a tired motor and install your motor in it, I have a 460 and C-6 looking for a home and need a truck to make a car hauler.
