Need some help with cowl tag. Black bench or bucket seat car?
Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been on here. I'm trying to find out what my car had in it originally. What I've found is that some plants have the code 756 as buckets and I'm not sure if the source I was reading was right but an other source was saying 756 meant black bench seat(for the fremont plant only maybe?). Is the code 756 mean different things for different plants?
Here is my cowl tag info:
ST 69-13680 BF 00656 BDY
TR 756 B80 B90 50 B PNT
09C 037745 200084
I mostly just need to know if the 756 means black buckets or black bench for the Fremont plant. Thanks.

If you talking about the Elko, as far as I remember I do not think I ever saw one with buckets, so my money would be on the bench. Might pose our question on a car specific forum, that's what I'm thinking.
GregI have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

according to this 1969 Chevrolet Trim Combination Chart it means black buckets...."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

Hey thanks for the link. Sorry I took so long to respond. Haven't been on in a while. I looked at my floorboard and the car was original buckets because it has 4 mounts per side. So thats just more proof on top of the link. Thanks.
