AA6,
To me the excerpt you posted is crystal clear. Each sentence in their quote clearly states that it applies specifically to Hoosier's "Racing Tires", saying that they don't support using them on the street as they are not DOT approved. Their "Exception - "Pro Street"" points the customer to their second line of tires, using their "pro street tread pattern". Again, if you go to the Hoosier web page and look to the index on the left side they clearly differentiate between the two lines, one major heading "Race Tires" listing eight different sub-headings (drag, road, oval dirt, oval asphalt, etc); and the second line "Street Tires" which has one sub-heading, Pro-Street. Race Tires are not for highway use, but Street Tires are. Seems clear to me, but maybe I'm not reading it right?Last edited by rspears; 02-19-2013 at 07:39 AM.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
