I didn't use a beer keg but did use an old milk delivery can. I welded the lid on and a vented filler in the lid with a pickup 2 inches off the bottom of the can. mounted it in the bed of my 1949 International short bed KB1 pickup. Also used an old old trunk for a cover for the batt. which is also mounted in the oposite corner of the bed. The trunk also has a fire ex. mounted in it for emergencies.
