Bleeding the power steering
I know the power steering has to be bled and it is usually done when the motor is first fired.
My question is .......can the pump be bled without firing the motor?

I don't see why not. Just need a way to spin the pump. Maybe a drill motor with a hex key in the center? (if it has the center hex??) or even a large bit to "grab" the center so the pump spins. Got an extra pulley? maybe mount it to a shaft and chuck the shaft into the drill motor. Use an extra belt between them.
Or?? Just wait 'til you fire the motor.. rofl...

Yup, I do the same thing, I use a 3/8" impact with an allen head to spin the pump, also works great to leak check the whole system before all the sheetmetal is back in place and things are a lot harder to get at!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
