I'm testament that it screws up the fuel system if left to sit. My sons car has been idle for quite a while, except for the occasional trip out side. New carb, new pump, new lines, and flushed tank, all three years ago. I know Ive been putting 93 octane with 10% ethanol in it. Made a heck of a mess of the carb. I'm sending my 2 cents to my congressman.
