39 to 54 running gear match?
I am restoring a 39 Chevy sedan and the torque tube and drive shave have been cut so I need to replace. I have a chance to get a 4 speed tranny drive shaft and rear end from a 54 chevy 1/2 ton pickup, does any one know if it wil fit ? would it be worth doing for some thing I want to make a daily driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Living in the past, 29 Chevy 4 Dr, 39 Chevy 2Dr, 34 ford 4dr
