350 chevy small block in jeep cherokee xj

me and my dad are putting a chevy 350 small block with edelbrock performance series carb, and intake manifold , edelbrock heads an sfi rated racing flywheel we have yet to do tear out on the jeep or put in a rollcage but we have just started and ill post pics of the engine
please post ur opinions about the 1/4 1/8 and top speed

not much information to go on.... Will the Jeep still be 4 wheel drive?? What transmission and what rear gears??

its gonna be a four wheel drive and the stock transmission and gears we are gonna run them until they break

Heck yeah post pictures as your project Jeep comes together!!.You want to post rear end gear ratio,details about your engine,tire size,so predictability can be applied on paper.Here is some formulas you can apply to that.They are of course if ideal conditions exists.

hey we went and got a turbo four hundred chevy transmission and for a hundred dollars today and how do you identify year model etc.? and i have pictures go to my galleries and they are there

Engine looks good!!! The Cheorkee looks nice, too, blue is a good color for them.

I'm not an automatic tranny guy at all, hopefully the tranny guys will stop by and give you some info on how to id what you have.

hey thanks we actually have got most of the stuff pretty cheap and thanks we dropped most of the money on the engine stand and the cherry picker

Takes the right equipment and tools to get things done, but tools are an investment, not an expense!!! From your enthusiasm on this project, I doubt it will be the last time you use the engine stand and cherry picker!!!!!

true very true my dad ended up having to buy my brother a car because he blew the motor in his and ended up spending 500 oh his part money on a 1997 or 1992 chrysler le baron
