    That makes sense. Then I can have them nickel plate them to match the rest of the fittings. Aeroquip doesn't sell the -20AN fittings in the AU/NI finish.

    Now if I could only find a shop that does this somewhere close to me.

    Take oven cleaner and soak the anodized parts in it. It will remove the anodize.
    Check out Spectre web site......they have the larger AN fitting in different colors.
