    What's it worth???

Not sure if this should go here..
A guy at work yesterday said he can get a deal from his Sister. She was going to build a car with her then boyfriend. They broke up, and he called her and told her to take her junk out of his garage. She in turn called her brother and offered it to him.

A 2005 Vette engine with automatic trans. along with all of the electronics for the car. Less than 15,000 original miles on it. A 1960 Chevy Belair 2dr. All I know about the car is all of the chrome is in the trunk, but I am gussing all of it is there. Now for all of you.. What is all of it worth?? Thanks.. Al

Lots depends on what shape the 60 Chev is in. If the body is solid , could be a good project putting vette motor into it. Have no idea what $$$ it's worth tho.

See the brother may sell them separately. One guy at work said maybe $6,000 on the engine, trans, and all of the eletronics that came in the car..

Look at Ebay.....prices range from $89,000 to $1750 for a BelAir......"what's it worth?" requires a close inspection (in person) and a knowledgeable appraiser OR a buyer with no brains. A disassembled car is worth much less than a driver. No interior is a good selling argument for the buyer. Bodywork is a put off for most buyers. Show what's there, sell the potential.

The brother may be looking for a fast buck. His sister will sell him the lot, as long as he comes and hauls it all away for $2,000.
