Based on your "how far down" question makes me wonder if you're planning to use the wrong firewall brackets. The '33-4 is different than the earlier ones. Here's a pic of the '33 I had, note, the brackets bolt or rivet through the top flange.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
