Getting started, 49 PLYMOUTH
:Well this last weekend my son and a friend of his painted the block,and heads of the engine for my 49 Plymouth build.If anybody has any pics and tips on such a build i,d like to see them.The car is a 49 plymouth business coupe,the engine is a 360 magnum(2002) 030 over,RHS heads,eagle rods, and crank, compcams cam,1.6 roller rockers ,studs,and guide plates, balanced,hei ign.edelbrock rpm air gap intake, backed up with a stall converter and a 518 overdrive trans. At the moment i amgoing with the stock frontend.Rearend is either a 83/4 or 9in. posi. OH! yes i have pics to follow.Pete.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
