That is going to be one fast Camaro. What is surprising is that the Cadillac CTS-V has almost the same motor in it ! I saw one tested on TV and it was really quick and handled like it was on rails.

We (my oldest son Corey) do the tuning of the NICKEY(backwards K) Chicago Camaros----there have been made around 50 of them so far----It is pretty common to end up with a drivable 700+HP at the rear wheels---
There is an artical in Super Chev magazine this month on page 45 about one of the cars
Seems many of the buyers are going for the Edelbrock or Mangussa blower---plus suspension, exhaust etc

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
