I'm always proud of the fact that I do vertually everything but interior on my own rods, but one thing I don't have is artistic ability, so when it came time to add some flames to my T I had to bow down to my buddy Micks abilities in that area. even though he claims he's "a metal guy, not a painter", the guy can lay out a flame in about 30 seconds that flows just perfect (dang that irritates me ) and paints just as well. anyway.... Mick has a shop right across the driveway from my shop, so I delivered the T to him on Monday morning and we agreed that mine would be a "spare time" project for him. by closing time he had the right side layed out. tuesday the left side and the car masked. Wed the green pearl was shot and cleared. in a few days we'll cut and buff + plus reinstall the top. I had taken a fender to him last week that I shot with "T green" to try out a few ideas, and we decided on the ghost pearl green. I like a bit of a suttle look, and this fills the bill nicely in my book. I like it. sorry about the reflections, but it's hard to get a decent shot of a ghost out in the sun
