Thread: Best Way To Clean AR Torq Thrust D's

I just bought me a set of torq thrust d's and they've been sitting a while and theyve got dust and some black on the rims that i need to clean .... ive scrubbed em with a rag already and got some of the dirt and black off but theyre is still some of the hard stuck dust and black marks on the front and back of the rims

I was wondering what yall would reccomend to clean them without damaging them

Pick up one of the wheel cleaners designed for bare aluminum. You don't want to use naval jelly or any of the other "etching" type of cleaners. Even simple green will work well. Go to your local discount store and look through the auto section, there is a crapload of cleaners out there...

Straight simple green and a HD scrub brush will do the trick. make sure the wheels are cool and not subject to direct sunlight while washing and scrubbing them. Allow the simple green to soak in for 10-15 minutes, keep them wet by spraying more on if you have to. Scrub well, rinse, and be done with it. Yes, it really is that simple.

Thanks, the spokes are in great condition but the lips on them have some pitting also ive just noticed .... Theyre brand new just been sitting a long time ...i was thinking about maybe some mothers cleaner to try to get the black off but idk about the pitting
