Hello Guys I have got a problem that needs tech input.

I am in the UK and I have got a 57 truck. The motor is a Gen6 Big block with RamJet injection.

The alternator is a chrome single wire job an I am gettin no output from it.

There is a connector on the side with the two standard blades going to the regulator but it had been plugged with factory rubber seal. I looks like the stator windings have been cooked.

My questions are:-

1) Can anyone identify the alternator?

2) Can you get a repair kit?

3) Can single wire alternator be converted to a 3 wire alternator by removing the plug and connecting to the terminals

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
