These were (and probably still are) done by EMI. They debuted the '57 convertible at SEMA a few years ago. They start with an OEM firewall/cowl section (good way to make use of old 4 doors) and add on the rest. I don't know if the one we saw was indicative of what's produced today, but the fitment, especially around the trunk/fins was horrible. LOTS of body work needed.
