Rebuilt Holly
Well I guess you get what you pay for.I bought a 750 Holley vac. secondaries for the Nova. It was suposed to have a 780 but I figured it should work just fine. I installed it and it ran . It ran like crap
So I took it off and started to check it out. It wasn't a 750 it is a 780 what its suposed to be
. We took it apart and it was filthy inside. the Accelerator pump was bad and out of adjustment. The ball check in the acc.pump was stuck. The jets were 2 numbers smaller than what they were suposed to be. After all that we check the secondaries they wouldn't open the shaft was stuck, so I took it all apart and cleaned the bores and polished the shaft. Tomorrow I will put it back together and see how it runs then. Now that I have that off my chest I hope I never see this guy again
I wouldn't let him rebuild a baby rattle
