When you use heat make sure you heat the area not the plug and heat it fast and hot. Then spray some Kroil oil on it and remove it. A couple of hits on the plug with a hammer and keep spraying Kroil oil on it. If the plug gets hot you will have to wait until all cools down and start over. A last resort is to drill the plug and use an easy out.
