Checked out Newports site for one for 48 Ford F1 Truck, and they have a direct bolt in replacement that uses original wiper transmision, so I don't have to worry about vent cowl being in place. But even better they offer this accessorie switch to make your wiper have intermittant capability.

This sounds like a good deal from santa for my `37 as well....we got caught in a storm coming back from Lake Tahoe one year in sept, it dropped two inches in an hour, wipers were almost nonexistent...had to pull over in Placerville in an overpass for an hour.

Kids in the back seat may cause accidents, accidents in the back seat may cause kids, so no back seat, no accidents...!
