Never Had This Happen Before

Maybe I should shoot myself! After reading the posts this am I poured 10 oz. of alcohol (isopropoyl) in the gas tank. Drove it about 12 miles put about 8 more gallons in it and drove it home. I am going looking for some Heet or something similar. Like I said earlier "never had this happen before". I will learn from it!:):)

Found some Heet and says it treats 20 gals.. I plan to try tomorrow. Question is do you generally have to run the whole tank of gas thru to get rid of the water or does the Heet make the water more engine friendly?

The HEET should make the water more engine friendly, but you may notice some diminished performance or efficiency until you purge that tank. I would suggest using it down pretty low before refilling from a better source.
