    Hidden door hinges?

     



    I have always liked how hidden hinges streamline the side of a car, but have heard the installation process is very involved. I am a novice welder at best, but am considering attempting this mod.
    Does anyone have any suggestions for kits? The only one I'm aware of I believe is manufactured by AutoLoc. Wondering if anyone has successfully installed hidden hinges, and could give me some advice to help things along.

    Ryan, do your research before you decide on the hinges. AutoLoc isn't the only company making or selling these kits, most of their products are made 'off shore'. Rocky Hinges is another quality hinge supplier, made in the good ole USA, give Rocky a call for more info, 888 539-6295.

    Thanks Mike,
    I'll look into that before I make any decisions. Definitely a fan of using American made parts on my American made hot rod!

    Hagan makes them also. I put a set of them in my 40 pickup.

    I never thought of Hagan.
    We installed one of their push-style flip open gas doors on a friend's '40 Chev coupe. It seems like a pretty nice product. Thanks for the info.
