Hello guys. I have been told you could buy wider fenders for a 1946 ford. I have been looking everywhere but no luck. Anyone else heard of this? also is there a good place online to buy stuff for 1946 ford. thanks

Hmmm, I have a 46 Ford Tudor and have started accumulating some catalogs like Drake, etc, but I have never seen wider ones for that year. What are you trying to accomplish exactly?
Don
Never seen em in my 40+ years of doin this.
If I ever did need wider I just split them and did it myself.
I did not think you could. this guy was telling me you could b.c the person who had the car before me put a chevelle sub frame on the front and its to wide. I know its going to have to be cut.
Yep, that is a problem with those front ends. The earlier Camaros I hear are narrower and tuck in better. I would do it right and modify the suspension to get the wheels in, rather than trying to widen the body to cover the tires. It would look much better.

yeah i agree also. I mean i dont like to even think about making them wider but my uncle was dead set on you could buy them. Is there a place to buy floor pans or do you have to have them made? Thanks for your helpQuote:
