Hey all, I need ideas on a good air/water separator. Brands, where to mount it, etc. Right now I have the air hose plugged into the side of the air tank and I get alot of water in the line. Any suggestions?

Takes more than a seperator. TP tools has a great compressor moisture page.

Some great info on this site:

You should run the lines from the tank as far as you can. Then right where the outlet would be, you plumb in the separator. Devilbiss makes a good one.
You want the outlet to come from the line that the separator is on so you don't have any water in it.
BTW................did you ever drain your compressor? There is a drain on the bottom that should be opened every now then.
Here is a solution, at least for starters. A good filter/separator in line after this setup would be requisite, though. The one I have is from Coil Hose Pneumatics; I got it at McFadden-Dale Hardware - don't remember how much it cost.
