I am restro rodding a 39 Chevy Master85 with a straight front axke, does any one sell a dropped axle or does anyone have any other suggestions on how to lower it besides putting on a new front end.
Thanks for any help you can give. ( a newbe)

I dont know but, I got a model of one of those 39' Chevy Sedans. I wish I could help but, I do not know of a dropped axle for this, but I'm unfamiliar with 39' Chevy copadibilities.

I had a 40 Chevy at one time. I used the original straight axle, Took leaf springs n' stuff off and replaced it w/coil overs. Did it on a budget back then, so it couldn't have cost too much. Shocks and some fabbin'.Quote:
