I'm pretty sure it is a 35-36 Plymouth four door sedan body, but so many cars back then looked similar it is really hard to tell. But look how the tail lights mount and the belt lines, they look the same to me.
The only thing throwing me is the dash. I couldn't find a 35-36 Plymouth with a dash like that.

That does look more like it. The picture of the tan one was listed as a 36 on the site I borrowed it from, but maybe it is really a 37. I should know, as I owned a 37 Dodge four door in my teens, but that was a few years ago (:D), so I forget what it looked like exactly. Also, the Dodge has the taillights mounted on the rear fenders, and his clearly have the remnants of a taillight mount right on the trunk hump. Very confusing, maybe it is a midyear thing or something as you have suggested.
At least we have narrowed it down to some Chrysler product. :D

IMO this car is one of those. is there a tag on the firewall of any type???maybe the angle of the pictures but it seem that the roof line has more of a forward slope to it than the photo's.is there a firewall???.engine????
