i have had 2 sets made , one set was made from a company called Evod . they did a great job they were 12500.00
Yeah I dont own a vehicle that cost that much...lol.. Thanks for the input..
Isn't that the company that makes wheels for Chip Foose?
Don
Ive been checking out this company. I talked to them and they seem to very very helpful...Has anyone delt with them? The wheels are in the $2000 range..

There are so many companies out there making large wheels, I don't see why you just can't find something that won't cost you an arm and leg. The bolt pattern on that 56 can't be so different that you can find something that will fit.
Sorry I shouldve explained better.. Its a 56 D100 truck on a 94 9C1 Caprice chassis, and the front track width wide. Right now I have 3.5" weld draglites on the front, and I would like to run at least a 7" rim.. But I need a front wheel drive type offset.. The reason for the 17s is so the wheels will clear the tie rods... I wanted to use chrome reversed wheels but 15s wont work and nobody makes a 17 steel wheel in the 5x5 bolt patern...
Thanks

I bought a set of wheels from Newstalgia Wheels in Tennesee a few years ago for my 34 Ford coupe. Custom offset, ran me $900.00. I'm sure they can fix you up for less than $12500! Good Luck.
have you tried
Have you tried Earlywheel?

I had a set of custom wheels made for my '48 Thames panel ......... they are ET's built by Team III ........ the rears are 15x12's (6-3/4" offset) and the fronts are 15x4's ( 1-7/8" offset) ......... the whole set (plus shipping) cost a little less than $2,000
