Hey guys, just got a door bar kit to install in the Nova. I think the general instructions are pretty straight forward, though the side that pivots I'd like a bit more tip on what angle to cut it at for the swing. anyways...

when you cut the door bar, do you weld an end cap on both sides? Also, do you just use a weld through primer then touch up the paint, if it's being installed in an already finished cage?

also, the retaining cable isn't very long, says in directions attach it to main hoop, you guys just use a screw and attach that way or what?
