55 Chevy repro mouldings ?????

A guy (seller) tells me the repro 55 Belair front fender and door mouldings are junk and do not fit, true?? Of course he is trying to sell me originals for $200. Nothing against him trying to get the most out of a part is to be expected. But thats well over the repro price for the 4 pcs. B4 I screw myself I thought I had better ask around. I was thinking that as long as I bought all 4 in repro I'd be OK and not try to mix n match repro w original. This car will be in no sense of the word a "show" car, but a decent daily BBC powered cruiser. I have them but they look like someone went after them w welders slag hammer all down both sides.

Find out the name of what company repo's them from him !!

His are unrestored originals described as nice, no dings or dents visible from two feet. Price seems high for unrestored mouldings. but what do I know its been 25 years since I have done a 55. He claims all the repros are junk, no brands were metioned.
