Ok to ans. your first question, you just simply pull it out there will be some wires attach to lever. but just pull straight out. Second Question the ignition switch in at the base of the column. to remove key cylinder remove steering wheel take screws out of turn signal switch, then there will be one torque screw and lock cylinder comes out.
