Just a quick quesion, would a 7" dual diaphram booster produce the same braking assist as a 9" single diaphram booster? More? Less?

Depends on the original application. The dual diaphragm has more potential boost, that's the reason they were made in the first place, but it may have been limited space that caused the changeover,

Yes thats the issue Im having, the valve cover hits the booster, it is a single diaphram 9" booster, the 7" dual diaphram will give me the room I need, I just wanted a general idea of the assist difference of the two.
