I have decided to swap the 350 for the 305 in my 87 TA, I dropped a piston and need to replace it, cause the skirt chipped about an inch off. I also need to know exactly how important it is to keep the valves, lifters, rods, pistons, and bearings installed in the same order or place where they came. I have lost track of the sequence, my garage is a total mess, and this is my first engine teardown. ANy help would be appreciated....MAHALO!!!!
