Hi all. I am new to the forum and in need of a little guidance. I am in the process of changing over a Triumph TR6 from the 2.5 liter inline 6 over to a later model Chevy 4.3 liter V-6 with a TBI and hooked up to a 700-R4 transmission. My question is, I am unsure of whether to stick with the wiring harness that came in the donor vechile, or buy a custom wire set. I plan on keeping the TBI set up as well as the lockup converter, so I will need to move the ECM over to the Triumph. As I will be getting around a 75 HP boost even in stock form, I want to keep engine mods simple, streetable, and economical, but I would like to see about another 25 or so HP. What mods would you guys recommend for this small gain. Also, as the donor vechile came with electronic speedometer, I will need at least a new speedomete if not all new gauges. What brand would you guys recommend for this. Thanks all.
