Low next to the toe boards on the firewall (not actually through the toe boards?) on either side for the light wires and behind the distributor up higher for the engine harness?

I was only thinking about the engine wiring right now (don't have the rest of the wiring right now anyway). I have a chevy, but the distributor isn't where it should be its on the front of the engine , but lower under the water pump...not the like Fords . so if I run the engine wiring up there it will be a huge eye sore hmm..

Look in the area behind the brackets at the bottom of your firewall, from the top of the toe boards down. The wiring bundle can route behind them (some down the left some down the right depending on what you're running to), on the inside that will keep them behind the kick panels til you get up under the dash.

That sounds like a good idea Bob I was looking at that as long as i have enough wire to run it down there, in and all the way across from the passenger side to the drivers side. I think I am going to weld a piece of angle iron across under the dash (from one side at the seam in the cowl to the other) to mount my computer behind the glove box and then run the wires across that to the drivers side. I was thinking about the wires being in the way of the insulation and carpet and all when on the inside of the firewall so this should all solve that..

I should be good as long as I have enough wire..thanks guys!

Since my engine is set way back I ended up with the MSD in the engine recess, I bought one of these firewall pass through's from Watson's Street Works. There are about 10 wires, most in the 16 and 14 awg size

the engine wires just under the top of the bell housing . the light wires out just be low the fire wall .i make them like i said left and right side. so two holes. so theres no cross over to the right fender .i mount the coil on the in side of the fire wall with a thru hook up a long with the MSD box if you have one but do it any way you like i done many this way you only see wires for the dist and the wire for the alt
