I'm looking into an aftermarket AC unit and was wondering if anyone one has used the any Hotrod Air products.
Primarly what I'm looking for is any feed back on how the company is to deal with and any comments on the quality of the products (especially their elite series of evaporators).

Mike, you didn't say what kind of vehicle you were going to put this in but there is another company Classic Auto Air http://www.classicautoair.com/ that has a "Perfect Fit" AC series for various pre-70's cars that is supposed fit in place of the factory heater and look like it came that way. I hear they are supposed to be good too. And of course, there's always Vintage Air who has been around a long time. You may know all this stuff already but I'm just throwing it out there in case you don't.:)
Tried others, wouldn't have anything but HotRodAir. On my second unit now.
Stay away from Southern Air. A friend installed two units in a 40 chevy for a guy. The guy bought Southern air because it was cheaper. He had trouble with both units. I have installed Hot Rod Air and Vintage Air in cars for others. Had no problem with either. I prefer Vintage Air. Good luck...
