at the time i was doing my 632 donovan the new block with what they called there pro sleeves the block was $4800 so block and pan gasket that was over 6 years ago they could be abit more now. so every thing other then the block i pick up some deals along the way .i have not much more then some guys spend on crate engines or less. getting front end weigth off could costed about the same.a 10.200 BIG M billet cap block is about 2824.00 with out shipping so add $120 now $3944 and the donovan is 100+ lbs lighter then a bow tie 10.200 and around 150lbs lighter then a big m so if you want to think this way.. how much is it going to cost to get 150 pounds off the front end of your car? if you want to keep your 66 gto steel hood the 11.500 HC donovan i have was a used block thats in good shape. this block is about $6.5000 new. it takes sometimes for me long time to buy all the parts. i wait for a deal as long as i get what i want in the end i can wait
