I just called Jegs tech line and had a conversation with a guy there about the ProComp and E Street heads. His words were "We have sold a lot of the ProComp heads and surprisingly have had almost no warranty claims or complaints." He also said he has examined them first hand and they look pretty good, but he still isn't convinced personally that the extra $ 2 -300 bucks for a set of Edelbrocks might not be worth it." He really had nothing bad to say about either the ProComps or Edelbrocks.

I understand your logic, $ 673 for a pair of aluminum heads is pretty enticing. I would have spent that much freshening up the Ford DOOE B heads I ran for years, so for the same money or a little more you get a brand new set of aluminum ones.

I guess the thing to remember is that places like Summit and Jegs are very good about returning stuff, so if you bought them and they were not satisfactory you could return them and buy something else.

Tough decision, isn't it?
