I've been on the pork site a while and got tired of getting abused by the so called know it alls. I'll try this site out. I have a 51 Pontiac and I'm wanting to clip it with an S-10. Has anyone done this? If so any help you can send would be nice. Thank you looking foward to hanging out here. Bryan

Welcome to CHR Bryan! Ford and Mopar guy myself, but you'll be right at home here as a chebbie guy!!!

Haven't done that particular combination, but I have clipped a number of them..... Basics are all the same, a good sturdy platform to support the car, lots and lots of measurements before you make the first cut on anything..... Check the track width to make sure the wheels aren't going to be hanging half way out the fenders, etc. etc.....

Got to ask though, are you dead set on clipping the old frame???? Lots of manufacturers making IFS packages designed specifically for your existing frame.... My main thing with the clips, when you're done you still have a bunch of old suspension and brake parts and no idea how bad they were used or abused in their first life. Clipping a front end is always a viable option, but there is also a lot of considerations when doing it..... Guess I'm trying to say I've seen a whole lot more done wrong then I have done right....
